3. Products, Pricing, and Quotations

  • Product Descriptions: We make every effort to display product specifications (such as wire gauge, mesh size, and coating types) as accurately as possible. However, minor variations may occur due to manufacturing updates.
  • Pricing: Prices listed on the website or provided via quotations are subject to change without notice, though confirmed orders will be honored at the agreed price. Prices are generally quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Online Calculator: Estimates generated by our online fencing calculator are for guidance purposes only. Final quotations are subject to physical verification of exact measurements or explicit confirmation by our sales team.

4. Orders and Payment Terms

  • Order Placement: Orders can be placed via our website, through official phone lines/WhatsApp (+254 713 147 147), or directly at our Nairobi yard.
  • Payment Methods: We accept approved payment modes, including mobile money (M-Pesa), direct bank transfers, and structured payment plans where applicable.
  • Installment Plans (“Lipa Pole Pole”): If you opt for any structured installment or credit payment plans offered by Durafence:
    • Products remain the property of Durafence until paid for in full.
    • Delivery or release of full stock may be withheld until completion of the agreed payment schedule, as outlined in your specific payment contract.

5. Delivery, Logistics, and Shipping

  • Reliable Site Logistics for Large-Scale Agricultural & Commercial Projects: Enjoy Free Delivery directly to your site or warehouse anywhere across Kenya for orders above KSH. 100,000.
  • Standard Delivery: For orders below the free delivery threshold, standard delivery fees will apply based on the delivery destination.
  • Delivery Timelines: Delivery timelines provided are estimates. While we strive to deliver on time, Durafence is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, road network blockages, extreme weather, or logistical challenges.
  • Inspection Upon Delivery: The customer or their designated representative must inspect the products upon delivery. Any discrepancies, damages, or missing quantities must be reported to the delivery team and noted on the delivery receipt immediately, or within 48 hours of receipt.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

  • Eligibility: Returns or exchanges are only accepted for items that are defective, structurally compromised, or not as ordered, and must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
  • Condition of Goods: Returned items must be in their original, unused condition and packaging. Custom-cut or specially fabricated materials cannot be returned unless proven defective.
  • Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment channel within a reasonable timeframe after the returned items have been inspected and accepted by our team.

7. Installation and Professional Services

  • If Durafence recommends third-party installers or provides guidance on installation partners:
    • Durafence acts strictly as a material supplier unless a formal, separate written contract for installation services has been entered into.
    • We are not liable for structural failures, property damage, or disputes arising directly from improper installation by independent contractors or the customer.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Durafence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, property breach, or third-party claims) arising from the use of our products or website.
  • Our total liability for any direct claim arising out of a product purchase shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid by the customer for that specific product.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

  • We respect your privacy and handle your personal data (such as names, phone numbers, and delivery locations) in compliance with the Data Protection Act of Kenya.
  • Information collected is used strictly to process orders, improve our services, and communicate with you regarding your purchases or promotional updates. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
